This notice describes jrkron.de as implemented: a static website without analytics, advertising, tracking, embedded third-party content or consent storage.

The website is provided through a webspace package from united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. For the technical operation of this webspace, united-domains uses IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. According to united-domains, the data is stored on IONOS servers in Germany.

When the website is accessed, IONOS processes technically necessary log data. This may include the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, access time and an anonymised IP address. According to united-domains, IONOS retains this data for eight weeks to maintain the security and stability of the service. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interests are secure and reliable website operation. 3. Contact by email

If you contact us at info@jrkron.de, your message is first processed through the united-domains email system and then forwarded to a mailbox hosted by Yahoo Mail. The Yahoo Mail service is provided by Yahoo International Limited, The EXO Building, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, D01 W5Y2, Ireland. The information processed may include the sender and recipient addresses, subject line, message content, attachments, and sending and receiving times.

We process this information to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the communication concerns steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract; otherwise, Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Messages are deleted when the enquiry has been dealt with unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons require longer storage.

Yahoo may transfer personal data to other countries, including the United States. According to Yahoo, such transfers rely, depending on the recipient, on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. 4. Cookies and local storage

The website itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies, store consent choices, or use analytics or advertising services. The hosting provider states that technically necessary cookies may be used as part of webspace operation. Fonts, images and styles are served locally.

5. External links

Links to Amazon, Goodreads and Buy Me a Coffee do not load content from those providers into this website. Their privacy terms apply only after a visitor deliberately opens a link.

6. Other recipients and rights

Beyond the service providers identified in sections 2 and 3, data is disclosed only where required by law or consented to.

Subject to legal requirements, rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Complaints may be lodged with a supervisory authority; at the controller’s location this is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
